How should some sludge encountered during the sand washing process be treated?

1. The sewage slurry environmental protection treatment system must have: mud collection tank, deep cone mud separation tank, clear water tank (clean water tank), reagent mixing and dosing system, and pressure filtration system;

2. Clear water is pumped into the mixing system to thoroughly mix the water and flocculant. The agent is pumped to the concentration tank, and the mud in the mud collection tank is also pumped to the mud concentration tank. After the agent and sludge are fully reacted and mixed in the concentration tank, the sludge and clean water are separated and precipitated. Clear water is pumped to the clear water tank through the clear water pump, and the flocculated mud enters the filter press through a dedicated pump for solid-liquid separation.

3. By squeezing through a filter press, the soil after pressing falls off, and the clean water after pressing is discharged and recycled through the filter press. Finally, the filtered dry mud cake is transported to the designated area through a conveyor belt for loading, transportation, or landfill.

2、 How can the dried mud cake after pressure filtration be better utilized and treated?

1. Composting treatment. For mud cakes containing organic matter, we can convert them into organic fertilizer through composting.

2. Curing treatment. If the mud cake contains certain harmful chemicals, we can solidify it to prevent the leakage of harmful objects, thereby achieving a protective effect on the environment

3. Mud dewatering treatment. Firstly, it is necessary to conduct concentration and mechanical drying to make the mud harmless and reduce its volume. When the moisture content of the mud cake reaches below 40%, it can be mixed with coal in a certain proportion as fuel for combustion, power supply, heating, or mixed with other materials to make bricks, cement, and other building materials

4. Use a bulldozer to crush the dry cake. After treatment, it can be used for the production of backfill mixed soil.
