Debugging is not only to test the equipment, but also to make employees more familiar with the equipment! So, how to debug the plate and frame filter press?

The plate and frame filter press is composed of a group of filter chambers consisting of filter plates and filter frames arranged alternately. There are grooves on the surface of the filter plate, and its protruding parts are used to support the filter cloth. There are through holes on the corners of the filter frame and the filter plate. After assembly, a complete channel can be formed to pass the suspension, washing water and lead out the filtrate.

After opening all the outlet valves, close the water wash, then blow air, start the feed pump, observe the pressure changes of the filtrate and feed over time, and if the pressure is too high, you need to open the reflux pipe to adjust. At the beginning of filtration, the filtrate may be turbid due to the capillary action of the filter cloth. Just wait for more than ten minutes.

The frame, filter plate and piston rod should be cleaned, and then check whether the filter plates are arranged neatly and correctly; check whether the filter cloth is folded, wash, blow, check whether the configuration of feed, liquid outlet and other pipelines and valves is correct and reasonable.

Before using the plate and frame filter press, it is necessary to clean the hydraulic station and the electric control box, and the inside of the oil tank should also be cleaned. Secondly, check the installation of the power supply, clamping and return oil pipes to avoid other problems caused by errors. Check whether the upper and lower limit pressures of the electric contact pressure gauge are set appropriately, and whether the power supply wiring is safe and reasonable.
